Reading the comments from TFL walk around the major complaints are pretty much what I expected. Price, no sunroof option, rear hvac removed and no 60/40 split on rear bench. Can't wait to see full drive impressions.
Man if that’s people’s only complaints I’ll be a happy guy! None of this really bother me at all. A panoramic sunroof would be sweet but definitely no deal breaker

This.

These aren’t major issues for me at all. The biggest one for me being rear AC. I’d have liked it, but it’s a midsize truck. Front AC tilted up (because cool air sinks) windows down, rear window open, all these should make anyone in the back comfy. Personally I don’t carry more than one passenger often so the 60/40 split isn’t an issue. And I just flat out don’t care for sunroofs.

I took the complaints to be "it isn't a Tacoma"

That pretty much sums it up.
The lack of a sunroof is a plus for me. I won't buy a truck with one. Those fancy panoramic sunroofs on the new F150s look cool but that could easily be a $3k + repair once your bumper to bumper warranty runs out.

Do we know whether or not they have underseat vents? My other Ford vehicles do so maybe these do as well???

I also don’t care for a sunroof. I have one in my grand Cherokee and it’s been 3 years and I’ve never opened it. Lol

If the RR came available with a sunroof, the next complaint would be not enough headroom. Especially when wearing a helmet.

I think the fact that there is no sunroof is because they wanted to keep the structure strong enought for its intended baja purposes. It would maybe have too much flex with the glass up there and it would pop or crack. Hell, the thing did the baja 1000 in stock form for the most part.

As much as it would be nice to have the rear vents, it seems that the US market is getting the sliding rear glass that no other market is getting. Maybe a fair trade?

Plus every sunroof leaks eventually. I love them in cars but a truck's back window is a pretty good alternative.

I"m kinda pissed if no rear hvac. Swear it listed it in one of ht eupgrade packages and it's the only reason i got the package so the kids can have ther own hvac. That drove my cost up a bit....

It dual-Zone electrionic climate control not the rear hvac option in the XLT High package?
