What’s the largest tire size anyone has been able to hang on their non-Raptor Ranger?

Or more specifically has anyone fit a 33” diameter tire for their spare?

Thanks!

I want to know this too!
I get my truck in 2 weeks, I'll find out shortly after!
Gonna put a level kit on it and then the biggest tire size that fits in the spare tire well will go on all around!

I know you said non-Raptor, but I fit a 35” under my Raptor with zero modification. It should be the same amount of room under there for a non-Raptor, right? Not sure if the non-Raptor has dual exhaust, but the limiting factor for me was the hitch. Even though it’s sticking out of the bumper on all models, it’s still in the way underneath for anything larger than a 35. Curious what fits under a non-Raptor too!

Thanks. I won’t go bigger than 33” on my Lariat so hopefully it’ll fit just fine.

The trailer plug in is in a different location for the Raptor I believe. Its less convenient but gives more room for a spare. Its also lower and people have hit them offroad.

Hope you can update the final size that can fit. My brother's new Lariat F4 should be available this week and he's looking to get a set of 5 tires including the spare to get ready for the year-end trip. We're done with the lift kit mod, 35" tires, gear wheels, and brake upgrade on the Tacoma and we got a week to prepare the Ranger.

I talked to a Ford aftermarket guy. We looked under a Lariat. Looks like a 275/70 will fit without a problem. My truck is scheduled to be here this week. I have a 2.5" level kit on the way and will be installed on the 9th if the truck gets here by then. I'll get tires shortly after (the next day if possible). Ill keep you updated!

I’m guessing I’m at least 2 months out from my truck coming in, but I’m planning on LT275/70R18s plus some 35mm offset wheels. Sounds like you’ll know before me :)

Which level kit did you go with?

Reviving an older thread. Was there any conclusion as to the largest tire to fit in the spare area(non-raptor) thus far? Stock tire is 31.1". Thanks!

Reviving your revival.
Clay6GRanger said in 2024 XLT FX4 Ranger - New Method 703 17x8.5 +35 offset w/BFGoodrich KO3 285/70R17 tires he fit the full-sized spare (32.7" calculated diameter, 32.8" stated on BFG's website) underneath without issue:

Was wondering if you could fit a 285/70r17 in the OEM spare spot? Is there enough room?
There is enough room, I bought the Bronco kit set of 5 wheels from Ford when I got the Methods. My spare is the 5th Method wheel with the same K03 on as the rest
I'd really like to fit a true 33" (ideally 255/85R16 but setup T.B.D.) so this is encouraging to me.

I have a 32” that fit with no problem; if we get a dry day and I remember I’ll take some pictures underneath to see if it’s obvious that a bigger tire will or won’t fit.
