In case anyone is wondering, Yes!, you can use 5g running boards on your 6G Ranger. I have the set that I briefly had on my 2019 Lariat on my 24 XLT now, bolted right up.

I dont care for running boards, but I drive a fair bit of gravel and if you dont want to watch you paint disappear from rock chips, you need something, mud flaps were not enough. It was bad on the 2019 , even worse on the new one with the fenders bumped out for the wider stance.

I have a 2025 Lariat on order but couldn't get chrome running boards. I figured I would order the 2024s with stainless Ranger filler. Fords OEM site said it wouldn't fit. Makes no sense
