Yes in several threads we've been talking about delays. Most people got delayed by a week, and then recently got delayed by another two. This lines up with production moving a week, and now two.
What till the strike that could push things way down the road. If they can’t fix the flat tow issue I’ll cancel mine.

I guess it depends on which model Tacoma. From what I understand, the models delayed until next year are the Hybrids, not the standard models. So that means no TRD PRO or Trailhunter, but that models like the TRD Offroad, Limited, etc.. will likely start shipping in October. Toyota's model is quite different than Ford. Ford could easily loose Ranger sales to the new Tacoma if they are available. I know I'm watching them as well.
If that is true, I am getting a Tacoma OR.

They likely won't strike all at once. They'll just focus on one plant at a time and expand the strike every 3-4 weeks.
Your dealer may have promised more then he should have, when I ordered in June he told me he had no idea and FMC wasnt sharing much info with them. But he felt sure I’d have it by Sept he wasn’t sure which Sept. I’m most likely canceling mine anyway if I can’t flat tow, 4 wheels down it’s not much use to me. I’ll go with the Canyon.

With continual delays - my biggest hope is no price increases... It's just too much already.

What ever the UAW and Ford settle on will be baked into the price.
Expect a price increase.

the wage and benefits agreed on with be rolled out over several years so I don’t expect a huge cost increase right off the start.

IMO the first year price jumps will be related to the 2.7L making the regular price damn near a raptor price. I can't imagine they don't bump the raptor up a bit so the two price are a bit further apart.

Thankfully our retail orders that are already placed, are price protected.
can you clarify? My dealer said this to me when asked about price lock “Hey. There is no “price lock” it’s sticker whenever the truck arrives plus any rebates you may be eligible for. Once there’s a vin for the truck I can give you the MSRP. Typically MSRP doesn’t vary significantly if at all”

I ordered a Lariat.

When you placed the retail order, you should have gotten a build sheet, with a price. That price is what you have to pay when the truck is delivered. If they say otherwise, they probably plan to pocket it as extra $$ for them. RAPTORS may be special, but since they are put in as retail as well, I *believe* they are price protected.

The retail orders should be protected. Lots of people here have agreements on Stock orders which are not
