Hello all,
Newbie here, so I apologize if this has been posted several times prior, but I was wondering what is the largest size tire I can put on a 2024 Lariat (2.7L) with the stock 18" rims and not get any rub? I was thinking of going with BF Goodrich All Terain T/A KO3s in 265/70R18 (I currently have the Wrangler Territory 255/65R18). Also, I don't want to mess with any lift kits, etc.
Any assistance is appreciated!

The guys from Texas Truck, if thats right, went with 32's no lift and got a bit of rubbing on the plastic inside the fender. I think that's going to be pretty standard with no lift. It wasn't rubbing on anything important though.

But they went with wheels with less offset, which I think should help a little (moves the tire out). Not sure if 32s would work on stock wheels.

And theirs is a 2.3, so ymmv.
If you are buying your tires at Discount Tire, they have a database that allowed me to buy larger tires on my sedan, basically the same as your idea, up one size, up one profile. If that isn’t conclusive, then you’re into solutions; a heat gun will ‘relieve‘ plastic, and small wheel spacers (.75”) will free up more inside wheel well space. Personally, I believe a leveling kit is the best solution.

@TheKroMan, My 2.7L '24 Ranger Lariat FX4 will arrive by the end of September. I've already purchased Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 255/70/R18 tires and I'll replace the Goodyear Wrangler's the minute I pick up the truck. I hope they fit, but from visiting the dealer and looking at the Wranglers on Lariats, I don't expect it to be a problem. I'd be interested to know if you went forward with the 265's and if that worked out ok.

So I was going to purchase them from Costco, but they said they cannot install them due to a > 2% increase in dealer recommended tire size. I then called Belle Tire and they said the best route would be to install a leveling kit. I really didn't want to have to change the lift/level or rims of the vehicle, so I'm back to square one. The stock Wrangler Territories just look so small to me.

That’s probably due to the speedometer error the oversized tires will introduce. I’ll correct that with Floscan.
Ultimately, I will add a leveling kit. But having owned a jeep that I lifted, I want to do it right and not just a puck lift. So I’ll wait for BDS Suspension to come out with a 2.5” lift kit which will keep all of the drivetrain components properly aligned.

I have a stock Lariat FX4 and the speedometer isn't accurate. It's out 2km/h so I have to do 82 km/h to be doing the speed limit of 80. At least I know I will never get a speeding ticket

Hi Alaska Steve, did you end up getting your truck and putting the Falken tires on? I'm still researching at this point.

Yes Sir! I picked the truck up last night and had the 255/70r18 Falken Wildpeak A/T4W’s mounted this morning. I think it looks great! It’s a tight fit, but no rubbing. It’s hard to tell, but there is one pic from the top-front-inside looking down.

Can you confirm? ... Those tires ARE on the stock 18" wheels and there's no lift kit of any type? Thanks.

I'm not interested in a front lift because a significant percentage of my use is towing. Accommodation of loads is, to my understanding, why stock pickups typically are higher in the back.

Correct, my truck has the FX4 package and currently no leveling or lift kit of any kind. I have roughly 2,100 miles on these tires and have not had any rubbing. You can see from the pictures that they are on stock rims and there is no top-hat spacer.

The Tacoma guys are swapping their 265/70r18's for 275/70r18's. To me it looks right in plenty of sidewall and gives you a 33.2" tire. Should fit within the crashbars so long as you don't go with too much poke, probably you want +35, hoping +40 will work. Its also a common affordable size tire.
PS: 265/70R18 = 32.6" and excuse the Tacoma picture
