How long is "Normal" for in production?

Thought I'd just post an update.

I got the call today that the Ranger Raptor arrived yesterday and they just finished it's delivery inspection this afternoon.

I go in Monday morning to look it over and hopefully bring it home.

Mine has been sitting at the railyard over a week waiting to be shipped on train. Hopefully doesn’t get hailed on.

My dealer called and July 24 is the expected delivery date.

I have been told by dealer there are trucks that were hail damaged recently - but they can't tell me if mine is included - how does one get that info ?

Might try chatting Ford support. My truck is still on the train! Can’t believe it’s taking that long. 6 weeks.

Has anyone that abandoned their special order and instead purchased one off a dealership lot been successful in pointing to their original early order date (with VIN) to get the $1000 rebate?

The rebate is only on early special orders and customer who made the order, not stock orders
I lost my order rebate by buying a stock truck.
I was informed by dealer before I made the move from my special order.
45 days after my purchase my special order shipped and could have hale damage besides the acid rain etching and rust under the vehicle from sitting 166 days in the lot.
The way I see it I never had the rebate unless I purchased that vehicle.
With all that could be wrong after so long I most likely would have walked away anyway.

@fordtrks4ever, thanks. Yeah I completely understand the rebate technically only applies to our original orders, just seems like Ford should "make it right" for those of us that committed early to the RR and transfer rebate–with proof of original order that still is "In Production"–to a new order given they couldn't deliver (literally!) on their end.
