In case you don’t know already, putting a cover on a dirty car (meaning one not just washed and dried) WILL damage the paint, by grinding in the dirt particles. Covers are only acceptable for moderately long use on a 100% clean vehicle, preferably INDOORS….

Also, it is a PITA to wash and dry the cover properly so that it won’t just transport abrasive grit onto your just washed car.

If you own the property, a well anchored portable car shelter is a much better option. If you are renting, find a new place with covered parking or a garage. A car cover is not the right answer for your problem…. Read this page:
