I picked the truck up last night and had the 255/70r18 Falken Wildpeak A/T4W’s mounted this morning. I think it looks great! It’s a tight fit, but no rubbing. It’s hard to tell, but there is one pic from the top-front-inside looking down.

Do you guys think these Falken 255 70R 18's will fit on a NON FX4 Lariat with the stock wheels and No lift?

I’m not 100% sure. Maybe try to find out the differences in suspension ride height and travel to see if there are chances of interference.

The only suspension differences stated are "off road tuned shocks" which shouldnt affect the height. When you look at the spec page it just shows a difference in height from the 4x2 and 4x4 so Im guessing the FX4 doesnt affect the height.

I’d visit a dealer and compare a 4x2, 4x4, and FX4 tire sizes and ride height (wheel well height) and that should inform you; if you can.

I made a short video update. Road noise didn’t noticeably change. Handling is great. We haven’t had a lot of snow yet, but what we have had (about 4”) hasn’t been a problem. We’re going to get 5-9” overnight, but I won’t be going anywhere until Tuesday morning.

So why did you put those tires on and why didnt you keep the stock tires. I read some posts that the Goodyear wranglers are ok and some posts that they are not the best. I guess do the AT tires when in 4x4 work good in snow and ice covered roads? Thanks in advance

Those wildpeaks look awesome on there!! My FX4 Lariat should be here by tomorrow, throwing the A/TW4’s on there will be my 1st order of business. Snow is coming quick and I have not heard great things about the stock wranglers. Thanks for the quick video, great looking truck!
What has thrown you off of keeping the stock Wrnglers?

The stock tires on the 6G Ranger have a very similar tread pattern to the 5G Ranger (Hancook AT’s) which were snow rated and didn’t perform well in wet and snow conditions. I had great experience with Falken Wildpeak MT tires on my lifted Jeep, and after researching several AT snow tire brands and models, found these to be among the best. The Jeep had KO2’s which cupped horribly. Then I put ProComp Xtreme MT’s on it, followed by the Falken Wildpeak’s. I like the Wildpeaks the best from both a performance and price perspective. … your mileage may vary… that is say that this is my experience and preference.

The stock AT tires look more like touring tires and every Offroad test reviewer commented on their poor offroad performance.
