I like sport mode, but I have found that downshifts in certain situations can be somewhat aggressive. For example, in situations with sudden slowdowns. I understand it’s trying to keep in the “powerband”, but I have had it drop several gears in the matter of seconds, especially on a twisty turntable downhill mountain roads.
Yes, it does that.

But the exhaust downshift sounds are all so soothing.

What’s your average MPG? 12? lol.
Well I've seen it as high as 19 when cruising the Richardson Highway. On a 420 mile round trip down the Parks Highway to the Northern Denali view and back to North Pole it averaged 17.8.

This is how I daily drive mine. Averaging 15.5-16mpg. But 100 Smiles Per Gallon. So I dont care.
Yup, me too. Now just waiting for the Ford tune....

Is the Ford tune for better MPG or to bring out performance?
Performance. Had it on my '19. Real reason I bought Raptor was the motor and want to get most out of it with the Ford tune in spite of others that might claim more. My dealer will let me do all the install except pressing the final button so that will still let me keep the warranty. I can remember when the tune for the Gen5 and some dealers were charging $300 to install. I wish I could tell you that it helped MPG but I never thought to do a before and after, in fact I really don't watch it. Only 1000 miles so far and almost all of my mileage is in town. So far in town is about 15 mpg, I did watch it for a 8 mile stretch on 2 lane with cruise at 60 and it was hitting almost 21 :)

Ok, sorry for the dumb question. How do you access SPORT MODE? I know i can change, exhaust, shocks and steering to sport. But there is no SPORT mode when moving the round driving selector. only mud, sand, baja and normal? My Shelby when you change modes has a specific SPORT mode setting. Just confused and appreciate help/guidance.
