Bolt-ons/Tuning

Good day all.

New to the scene so go easy on I please.

Is it necessary to have the RR tuned if I want to install a few bolt ons such as Bov, Cobb Intercooler with PW piping, air intake pipe only and maybe downpipes?
I've heard that these don't run the risk of over boost or boost creep? Probably a CEL from downpipe.

There aren't any local tuners in the Caribbean for this Thai built platform, but parts are readily available.

If your just installing Blow of Valve, Cobb Intercooler with PW piping, air intake pipe only and downpipes. I think you should be good. if later you get a ford performance tune you should have a solid set up. I just ordered a BOV and Cold Air intake myself.

I wouldn't install downpipes without a custom tune... but the rest of those bolt-ons should be fine. Will be mostly bling without a tune to maximize their potential.

Your truck will run just fine with the bolt-on’s, but the tune will let you take advantage of those other parts you’ve paid for.
