Anyone else have this issue with their Bak Revolver x4s? The cover rail seal (closest to the cab) does not lie flush. There's a gap that is impossible for it to lie flush with the truck even with applying pressure (instructions). I noticed that part of the seal was starting to tear. The only thing I can think of that might cause it to tear is the car wash. Anyone else with this issue?

Check the two locking nuts. Also maybe the clamp is loose and it lifted

Thanks for responding. Do you have the same cover? If yes, does your placement look similar? The gap under the seal, closest to the cab isn’t possible to seal unless I slide the whole cover rail down. There’s a very small amount of room by the tail gate but very little (1/8 inch)

One of my side rails was bent when I got my X4s, and when installed, it looked just like your picture above. This was likely due to the box being dropped during shipping.

Call up Bak and ask for a replacement.

I installed the BAK X4st last week. Like yours but with T slot rails. I noticed the same thing but I believe it' the plastic rail/bed rather than the BAK rail...
First, from the back of the truck I sighted down the rail and it looked straight as a string.
I took a 4 ft ruler and laid it in the track. It was very flush/level front to back. (see pic).
I then laid the ruler on the plastic cover and I could see the drop. (see pic) You can also somewhat see it if sight down the plastic cover from the rear.
Most noticeable from the driver side, it's much less an issue on the passenger side. I'm not too concerned about it, I'll just use some sort of sealing material if it leaks.
