So are the 2025 beds longer than the 2024?
Were the beds redesigned because of the J brace?
One of the build sheets I kept when the truck was delivered stated "Job 2".

I just picked up my new 2025 Ranger 2 weeks ago today, and just this past Friday I installed the BAK Revolver X4S.

At this time I would caution against ordering that product until BAK has a chance to figure out what's going on. I have supplied them with numerous photos and measurements so they can investigate.

The bottom line right now is the the cover is not long enough to even reach from the front to rear edges of the side rails, and the rear edge of the cover is sitting in space above the lower front edge of the tailgate cover. The image below shows the gap and this is with the rear edge of the cover aligned with the rear edges of the side rails.

Is there not a seal under that rear gap that catches the inside edge of the tailgate cap?

The whole problem with putting covers on these trucks is the way Ford designed the rear corners of the bed caps where they meet the tailgate. The corners being on an angle means that if the cover comes back far enough to meet that high spot on the tailgate cap the rear corners of the cover will hang over the bed rail and look like crap. Ive seen some pics of the Truxedo soft roll ups that this is the case.

So when I installed mine on a 24, there instructions where a bit weird in how they tell you to put the L bracket up front up against the bulk head. The picture shows the bracket sitting on top on the bulk head but when I installed it it would bind and have that gap. Once I moved the rails back, it got rid of the gap and sat flat on the truck.

The D-seal that faces towards the rear barely contacts the inside of the tailgate, if at all. The Rear edge of the cover has no vertical support at all.

I just had one installed last week and the install place where I purchased it had a horrible time with the clamps provided. They ended up using the clamps from the Access Original cover I had on previously.

I didn’t have any trouble with the clamps, and the rails went on just fine. It’s just the cover itself that doesn’t fit on my truck.
