Anyway to tell if Ford Performance Tune has been installed?

I spoke with Ford Performance and they said by looking at software version on pro call if the sw version has FP in it then it is the tuned software installed so you can confirm with that. Here is picture.

1. It does not need plugged in.
2. You can install it, it just won't have the FPP warranty of 3/36 on it.

I bought my ranger raptor used and the ford dealer claims that the tune is already done on it. But I’m only getting 18-19 psi boost as well. Also this is what my pro cal is reading for the “SW”. There is no “FP” in mine. Is there any other way to tell if this tune is really done or not?

Technically this should also work on Australian RR too.

My truck updated to 6.2 on me (left automatic updates on). I was concerned, but my SW is RB3A-FPG30A-JF still so I'm guessing I'm ok. Also didn't notice any change in performance yet. Are the ford updates compatible or are we supposed to keep it off auto update. Do you think my tune was affected at all? Just wondering, since you spoke with fp, if maybe they talked about that.

No it doesn’t.
Your made in Thailand trucks don’t get the FP tune. They have lots of different components compared to ours.
The FP tune is only for USA built trucks.

They didn’t say about it. I need to 0-60 mine or Dyno then I would know for sure. I see the correct software. I am sure my dealer did it correctly and when they did I noticed difference in shift. However, I had to have the entire engine replaced, and I was a little worried after the fact if the tune was still there, although the tune is for the computer, not the mechanical engine parts so technically it should be there and the dealer said it should still be there and working. My problem is I’m not sure. I really feel the difference which is why if I did something like a 0 to 60 where I really were pushing it maybe then it would be noticeable not to mention the time would be different.

Yes sure. But same motor / transmission combo and same ecu.

No.
Parts are made in different factories.
You can not take the motor, transmission, or ECU out of a Thailand truck and put it in a USA truck.
