The LEER covers are very nice. I looked at that model and the one that sits flush recently at their manufacturing facility that’s practically in my backyard. The rep told me the model that sits ā€œhigherā€ is actually the better one.

When I bought my truck last April the only option for me was the MX4. Iā€˜ve had nothing but leak after leak and Realtruck has been completely unhelpful.

If I was in the market now I would choose LEER hands down.

I preferred this one because it had 4 folds plus no drain tubes. I thought both were ok f a low design? Just different materials. One being aluminum the other fiberglass mix.

I looked at both at their factory facility. The 650 and 350. The 350 sat noticeably higher off the bed, probably about an inch. The 650 was completely flush, like my MX4.

Interesting. I'm liking how flush it is. Plus no drains. Not sure what they mean by the other ones being better,? Maybe hold more weight? Or the materials. I might need to doore research I guess. They all looked good but this one stood. Out for me.

Materials were the exact same. I think he mentioned the Tri Fold supports more weight.

Regardless, I would purchase the exact one you’re looking at, the 650. It’s a lot nicer than my MX4

Oddly enough the website now shows what appears to be the same 650 cover for $599???? I just messaged them. That would be a smoking deal

The 599 is for a Ford Branded cover - Not sure if there is any difference between that and the 650. Website does not give a ton of details

Agree. But when I almost order the 650 I was told it's the same as what Ford was selling. Odd. But sure looks the same at half price. I'll dig deeper. Or maybe they will email me back.

Yes, and I looked at the FORD website to see what the specs were and they look the same as the 599.00 version but Ford sells for 1600.00 ;-)

Exactly. I think it's the 650 discounted. Just my gut.

Yes. I haven’t had too long just a couple weeks but I like a cover designed that doesn’t need drain tubes. The locking mechanism is great too and easy to operate. Looks good and had a few friends say they like it. Time will tell with rain as it’s still winter here lol.
