Going with that big of a tank would your truck lean to the driver side a lot once it's full? I would think a 25 gallon would be the best.

Gas is roughly 6lb/gal. An extra 15 gallon capacity (20gal to 35gal) is 90lbs.Going with that big of a tank would your truck lean to the driver side a lot once it's full? I would think a 25 gallon would be the best.
I'm ASSuming they would. Curious about what that would cost though.I emailed Brown Davis today to see if they will ship to the US.
That's a good question. Especially considering the different engines and fuel here. Is yours a Raptor? That's my biggest question after are they US emissions compliant.
I presume there wouldn’t be an issue. Reutilizes all the OEM charcoal canisters, pump and fittings. Nothing but a shell in essence. There’s nothing in EPA regulations limiting fuel capacity. That's my biggest question after are they US emissions compliant.
I guess the other question is, can you run gasoline in a tank originally designed for diesel? Will that cause any issues? I'm assuming on a metal tank it won't make any difference. But I've been wrong before.I presume there wouldn’t be an issue. Reutilizes all the OEM charcoal canisters, pump and fittings. Nothing but a shell in essence. No difference, other than canisters and pump. Most all are aluminized alloy tanks. Steel is out of the questions due to weight. Same venting system into charcoal canisters.I guess the other question is, can you run gasoline in a tank originally designed for diesel? Will that cause any issues? Yup, raptor. They use petrol in AUS, so the tanks are petrol compliant. I'm just worried there is some EPA test that they didn't do and it will bar import. The cost difference between BD and LRA is almost $1,000. Well worth a couple hundred in shipping it here. That's a good question. Especially considering the different engines and fuel here. Long Range America shows an ETA of January 2025 for their Raptor tank now.
