Going with that big of a tank would your truck lean to the driver side a lot once it's full? I would think a 25 gallon would be the best.

Gas is roughly 6lb/gal. An extra 15 gallon capacity (20gal to 35gal) is 90lbs.

Would you worry about the truck leaning with a 90lb rear passenger?

395 miles from new, only town driving 16.1-17 mpg, tank reading till empty after fill up 354 miles till empty. I’m actually surprised at this point, tbought it would be worse.

Keep in mind, I’m at an altitude of 6000 vertical ft using premium fuel.

Waiting for the FP tune to see if it improves.👍🇺🇸

That's a good question. Especially considering the different engines and fuel here. Is yours a Raptor?
Long Range America shows an ETA of January 2025 for their Raptor tank now.

I presume there wouldn’t be an issue. Reutilizes all the OEM charcoal canisters, pump and fittings. Nothing but a shell in essence. There’s nothing in EPA regulations limiting fuel capacity.👍🇺🇸

I guess the other question is, can you run gasoline in a tank originally designed for diesel? Will that cause any issues? I'm assuming on a metal tank it won't make any difference. But I've been wrong before.

No difference, other than canisters and pump. Most all are aluminized alloy tanks. Steel is out of the questions due to weight. Same venting system into charcoal canisters. 👍🇺🇸

Yup, raptor. They use petrol in AUS, so the tanks are petrol compliant. I'm just worried there is some EPA test that they didn't do and it will bar import. The cost difference between BD and LRA is almost $1,000. Well worth a couple hundred in shipping it here.

I saw a rumor somewhere that the bronco tank fits the opposite side...

Got a reply. Shipping from AUS to US was quoted at over $1500AUS to ship to a business in TN, which puts it about on par with the cost of a LRA tank. I didn't ask about shipping to home.
