I saw a rumor somewhere that the bronco tank fits the opposite side...
Yeah it's true the Bronco has the same rear suspension design as the ranger Raptor so they're a cut out and the rear of the tank area is identical or a mirror image of the opposite side Ranger Raptor fuel tank. The crossmember could be in a slightly different location other than that the four-door tank should fit perfectly and there's also a shorter tank which is in the two-door version of the Bronco which may be used as well. The biggest difficulty would be rerouting the exhaust and all of its components to clear the new fuel tank and it could be done easier with the shorter fuel tank out of the two-door.

Honestly these aftermarket tanks are actually too big. Even in my full sized truck I never felt slighted by 26g. (Granted I’m not towing much with this…that does change things somewhat) What is really needed is something in the 24-26 gallon range that is no lower than factory when installed.

Lot of people where this doesn't apply to or don't know, but when towing anything with some weight or a large front area the gas mileage tanks. To anyone long distance towing an 18G tank means you're constantly searching for the next gas station. I tow about 6 to 8 times a year long distance and I want an alternative to a full size truck. The 2.7 ticks all the boxes for me, except for the gas tank, which I'll have to live with cuz I'm not sure I can handle $2K to $4K for an extended tank.

What fuel economy do you get towing?
We stop about every 2 to 2.5 hours anyway for people and pet breaks
