Looking at the builder, there is nothing new for 25 beyond the color changes and the key code door option being not painted since its a dealer option now. Everything else is the same, same wheels, same tires, same everything else which is to be expected.

Aside from adding another gray paint and the beige paint, they added a black appearance package, separated the side rails from the fx4 package, removed the OWL tires, and I just noticed the pictures of what I'm guessing are a lariat have the xl and xlt-style shifter. I wonder if that's true? If so, and if it's not just a mistake on the website, I wonder if there's any impact on the park assist features?

Price on the securicode went up to $225 from the $95 color matched one I got on my truck. Glad I got the cactus grey when I could in 24.

Probably to cover install costs at the dealer. Its a shame its no longer factory painted.

Does anyone see anything to indicate this is the new 2.3 like the Mustang that is port and direct fuel injection? Im happy about the Ruby Red over that orange from 24.

Nothing has indicated that the current engine platform has changed.

Now we just need the 25 order guide for all the details. Its not on the Ford Media site yet.

And they changed the red to the Ruby Red Metallic over that orange red from 24. It also looks like they changed the chrome package by deleting the chrome door handles and mirrors and raising the price of it!

Well after researching it looks like you are correct. So our choices are the old 2.3 with limited life due to direct injection and carbon build up or the 2.7 with ongoing cam phaser issues.

Cam Phaser issue is all the engines though.

Looking at the pictures in the build & price, they've also added an air dam at the front, pretty small by Tacoma standards, but definitely a new addition for 2025...
