Something like what the Bronco crowd did in this thread may be needed for us. Seeing as if those are 3 wire leads (aRGB), that gives me hope for a simple plug and play swap using similar hardware they dug up

Bronco Ambient Lighting
Should work on the Ranger. This is what I did on my Bronco Raptor and then installed on the Ranger Raptor. The only difference is I used single color blue ice LEDs because they were a lot cheaper and it is the color I like since it matches all the factory buttons and switches.

Awesome job!! What module was that in. We need to start putting together a sharable doc with the things we can make changes to.
@Stumpm2 was correct, it's the APIM. Really wish there was a spreadsheet already.

I plan on swapping out for RBG's (thanks for the Bronco link BTW!) but it will probably be a while. The Raptor is the newest of many projects I have to work on. Parts usually collect dust. My CTS-V is starting to get a layer of dust lol.

But yes, it has been fun trying to figure things out on this truck.

You need to replace the installed leds with rgb leds to get the color changing to work after adding in Forscan. I only had blue ice leds for the cup holders and rear seats when I added them to the Ranger Raptor and just went with that. The shifter and all other buttons are blue ice so I think it works.

Nice!, could you possibly link the part numbers for the light assemblies? would love to have cup holder lights as well and footwell lamps.

Sorry, I do not have the part numbers I used as I did this to my Bronco over a year ago and just took the parts out. I used the cupholder in the Bronco6G posts, but used single color blue ice LEDs that I do not have the part numbers for. I remember the single color LEDs were over half the cost.

So the bronco and the ranger have similar cupholders? or did you have to modify anything.

I used the same modified Lincoln Corsair cup holder on the Bronco and Ranger. The Bronco and Ranger cup holders and close if not the same.

Ambient lighting is kind of a yellow orange color. Lights are located in the door panels, center console by the phone cubby, and below the upper glove box. You can change the brightness in the infotainment screen but not the color.

Driver's seat has easy entry/exit that can be turned on or off also through the infotainment screen.

I'm curious if the LED's are white with a colored cover or if multicolor and if it can possibly be adjusted in FORSCAN.
Where in the infotainment is the easy entry/exit option? Can’t find it on my EU Raptor? Can I enable it on Forscan if not? Thanks

I found the switch in the APIM with forscan, but no action.
My European Raptor does not have memory seats ; is this related?

Now that you enabled it in Forscan, do you need to enable the option in the infotainment?

I activated it in the infotainment but the seat does not move when opening the door. I think this function is related to the seat memory (which I don't have).
Can anyone confirm if this is possible without the memory ?

Seems logical to me that a entry/exit system designed to return you to your "saved" driving position would require the memory seat functionality.

It seemed logical to me, that's why I gave up on the idea.
