This is what I'd like, but for the Ranger.

https://mpowerlights.com/product/mpower-orv-chase-light-kit/

I tried emailing them to see if they have any plans for it, but never got a response.
I would think it would work on the Ranger. The RPG and the GJ third brake lights that work on the Ranger are from the F150’s. RPG told me the 2nd Gen raptor light would fit the Ranger. I’d assume their 3rd Gen doesn’t fit because it has the camera in it and the Ranger doesn’t.

GJ Motorsports 3rd Brake Chase setup works.
one more question because I just ordered from the link you gave. Did it come with the NMO cover or did you have to get your own

I am also looking at those. Like you said, if it fits the Gen 2 raptor and it's supposed to use factory mounting points (the GJ one does, so does the RPG I think, as well as a Rad Designs option) and this mPower one seems to simply attach underneath the factory light, maybe it works on the Ranger as well?

I think the key would be to find the mounting point similarity between the OEM Gen 2 F150 raptor and the Ranger Raptor/2024 Ranger. At first glance, they look like literally the same light and mount points.

Mpower replied on email saying their chase light / third brake light would fit the 24 Ranger.

Anyone compared these lights to the Baja design options above? Lumen wise they're rated better than the S2 Sports and on par with the S2 Pro at a much lower cost but it's tough to find reviews,.

I'm going to take a chance on it and order the mPower Third Brake Chase Light (officially called the "ORV Chase Light"). It's definitely an F150 focused part but I think it'll work seeing how the other third brake options work well for the Ranger as well.

If you want it, best price I've found is on Forged Safety (and they're great people to talk to, as well as official resellers for MPower/Soundoff signal) https://forgesafetyvehicles.com/

Should fit just fine. Post some pics here or a new thread when you get it installed. I have the GJ waiting to be installed at my house as soon as I get home from this work trip in a couple weeks.

It'll probably be a few weeks before I get it delivered and a few more weeks before I get time to install it. But I'll definitely come back and post how it went.

Funny enough, once they released their "interior chase lights" the reps started saying that I should get the interior chase light for the ranger and the exterior one for the F150 only. But I'm pretty sure it'll fit.

I haven't hooked up the wiring yet. This was intended to be a test fit and one of the plastic screw clips on the ranger decided to break and start spinning, at which point I said F it and pushed the wire through and routed it into the cabin.

This is how it fits. Flush in the back and gaskets make contact with the cab. However the top parts on both sides slightly sit above the cab.

Wind noise problems? I have STEK over the entirety of my truck, else I'd have tried melting the plastic down / softening with a heat gun on the sides. Alternative is strong double sided mounting tape on just the sides and press down the plastic onto the truck.

While I don't think it will leak, I'm also thinking about sticking some rtv silicone sealant in the forward facing gaps on those side/top areas and then covering it with some clear gorilla waterproofing tape just to be extra safe.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Edit: pictures not going through. I'll update asap

That’s a bummer it doesn’t sit 100% right. I probably wouldn’t be super worried about it leaking but I would want to close up the gaps somehow. Silicon might be your best bet for that like you had said.

Wanting to get chase lights for my RR preferably ones for the 3rd brake light area like the ones RPG, GJ Motorsports or Bulletproof Diesel offer. Anyone know if any of those will fit or any other options?
I bought a blackhorse that is tonneau cover compatible and run the 3rd brake light wire down to the frame all the Way back to the left rear light where the harness plug is and tapped in the brake light wire and covered it in wire loom then secured it to the frame harness

Ran the wires through the factory opening. I ran them to the right side making sure to avoid the airbag based on installation instructions for the F150's, I would not follow my lead on this haha... F150's have their BCM and Aux wiring leads under the dash on the passenger side which we do not have. I didn't feel like re routing so I just ran a wire from the passenger kick panel to the AUX 1 lead under hood for the chase lights. I'm trying to get the pinout for our BCM so I can enable the center light on reverse.
Did you ever find the BCM? I want to install mine tomorrow but don’t want to have to rewire if I send the wires the wrong way lol

Has anyone routed the wires on the 3rd brake light to the drivers side instead of the passenger side? I tried the drivers side today with no luck of getting the wires through the headliner.

I did with the Mpower one above (though the wires were in a thick grey jacket). I cut a small slit in the sticky white paper backing and pushed the wire through to the left (when looking from outside).

From the inside, it was a rush job and I pulled the headliner down at the back a little with a trim tool and got the wire down via the edge of the back window, then pulled and disassembled the liner on the back of the cab and pushed the wire down until I got it close enough to start routing it through the door edge trim (you do have to pop it) and alongside the other cabling already there and under the B pillar. It took a while.

I did mine today. I ended up using the open space where the 3 holes are behind the brake light to run my wires into the cab instead of inside under the headliner. I couldn’t get the wires through for the life of me when I put them through wire the brake light harness comes out

I tried that space first and couldn't figure out where exactly it connected to the inside of the cab, so I went this route instead.

TBH I pulled down the edge of the headliner just enough to route the cable. Any professional would have been aghast at the way I got it done lol
