2024 Ranger Raptor Scheduling Only This Week (7/13/23) for Production Weeks 9/4 - 9/25

Yup, or their first unit is going to the owner's son, an employee, etc. Basically, they aren't willing to burn their first allocation on you, so time to move on.

Or they are just so stupid as mentioned by another poster you probably don't want to be doing business with them.

Expand a dealership you are looking at by as little as 25-75 miles and start making phone calls. You might be extremely surprised. The RR has flown under the radar as far as public advertising knowledge.

Out of 5 dealerships I looked at, absolutely none of them had previous inquiries before me. And that was maybe a month ago?

Got a call from my regular dealer today who supposedly didn't get a stock allocation that I could put an order in retail. I feel like they were pushing me off until they could do retail. I do have a stock order in at another dealership, but I'm number 3 and didn't get to pick my color. I feel like retail may be the way to go... or at least hedge bets

Long McArthur video is out. He says Ford already asked them what order number they want to schedule for their 1 allocation. Scheduling is Thursday. Looks like we will find out soon who amongst us are the lucky ones.

I think it's odd that Ford asked them what order number they wanted to schedule. I thought that was the whole purpose of having priority codes?

the way he said it though sounded like he only had one order to put in. I was wondering if he had more orders or just that one?

I've posted about this before, but basically when it comes to Raptors, your priority code is pretty much moot. Since all the dealers only have 1 allocation, they choose which Raptor order they want to have built on their allocation. So in theory, yes they can use the priority code system as their list, or they can just assign all their Raptor orders a code 10, and at the end of the day, they just choose who's on top of their list, or even who they have penciled in for a 20k ADM.
