If you would not mind, could you let us know how it turned out please. My dealer said they knew nothing of this. Not comforting. They reached out to their ford rep before making any changes.
Will do!If you would not mind, could you let us know how it turned out please.
Same here. She sent this thread to her zone manager to see for sure what the story is. She was last told that retail would not get scheduled only stock. But this was a couple weeks ago. So hopefully she’ll get back to me with confirmation tomorrow morning. My dealer said they knew nothing of this. Not comforting. They reached out to their ford rep before making any changes.
Awesome. I guess report back here when you find out. So many have changed that it seems like the thing that needs to happen.Same here. Huh, according to the email he changed it to retail. Sounds like some of us getting trucks and some not! Or just way later. So as I posted earlier about getting my RR confirmation email, there is a little more to the story. I originally texted my sales guy and forwarded him this thread. He said he hadn’t heard of the change from stock to retail yet (my 1st and only order placed was stock). He said he would reach out to his regional manager to see. In the mean time he sent me a picture of a Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment that was submitted on 6/27. This was for a stock order priority 22. Shortly after he got back to me and said his regional manager said that since my stock order was the one and only order this particular dealership was getting, it didn’t really matter. Shortly after we hung up I got my confirmation email. My story FWIW
You can’t not watch it!Skitrem47 "we're all just along for the ride!" Funny, earlier I was literally picturing a dumpster fire and that exact same thought. And, yet, here we remain just watching it!![]()
Yup! All this new agenda is fun!!I've been reading in the news that Ford is now laying off U.S. & Canadian employees, many of them in their ICE engine division (in favor of pushing the E.V. agenda) even though only roughly 4,300 units of the E.V. truck were sold in this year’s first quarter, about 2,000 less than projected... as Ford’s most popular F-150 gas-powered line sold over 170,000 units during that same time period. Makes sense to me!![]()
Perhaps, and this is just a guess, you are their first RETAIL Raptor order. Since you got your email confirmation received from Ford you should be fine. It would be nice if they just would leave BOTH orders in. However, by not leaving your stock order in the dealer get's your order, and a stock Raptor order configured the way they want to configure it (and perhaps a nice little ADM for the stock order). So two trucks to sell. Retail orders are suppose to be prioritized over stock orders. Bottom line...hell if I know.I called my dealer yesterday (Northern California) and inquired about this. They said they hadn't seen the bulletin yet but that they'd call the rep today.
Today they cancelled the stock order and resubmitted it as retail. I asked if I'm still the only RR and if this would still be first production and they told me yes and that the order had been verified (idk what that means). Not sure why the stock order was cancelled though, that part makes me nervous.
Priority 10, email confirmation received.
Tough to say, the GM was the one that handled it and said the stock order was cancelled. They've made it clear that whatever their first allocation is, I would be getting it, but agree- I would have liked for them to not just cancel it lol, no harm in letting them both ride but like others have said.. at this point.. whatever happens happens lolPerhaps, and this is just a guess, you are their first RETAIL Raptor order.
