That looks perfect, great looking colour scheme and stance! I’m awaiting my XLT and hoping someone has a setup that I am leaning towards. The 2” level… hoping for something more than spacers and an entire strut structure but can’t find anything just yet. My truck likely won’t get here to March/April so I have time for the makers to catch up.

And do you have pics of the poke?
yes, more photos please, of poke and clearance to fenders and crash bars.

I have the same wheels ready to go on my yet-to-be-built velocity blue lariat fx4 with some 255/75 at tires (roughly the same diameter tire just not as wide). Your wheels and truck look great!

Yes would really like to see some photos showing poke etc. Also, with the level any rubbing or clearance issues as well with that setup? Cheers and thanks!

I am against poke and want to keep things tucked as much as functionally possible. This definitely achieves that with all the tread tucked in the arches, the sidewalls just peek out ever so slightly. All covered by the factory mudflaps too stopping anything being kicked up the side.

This is not a level, but a full 1.5" to 2" lift with new remote res adjustable shocks. Still a work in progress with manufacturers to confirm fitment.

No clearance issues, its just rubs ever ever so slightly at full lock on some of the flexible arch liner at the very front, easily fixed.

This is a proper setup, but I was avoiding posting much details as its a yet to be released kit to confirm fitment. You can probably zoom in on the photos and take a guess at who it's from.

The front is almost perfect with a 1.5" - 2" lift strut assembly and remote res shocks. The rear is still a work in progress, with a 1" spacer block for now, but the shocks are in. Once rear leaf fitment is worked out it will be complete.

Thanks for posting another profile picture! 👍🏻 I’m not into poke going beyond the wells either. Your truck looks tight with a very nice stance. This is exactly the look I want to achieve and don’t want to be kicking dirt up alongside the truck; mine is coming with the factory mud-flaps so it’s good to know they will function fine.

just having fun putting ideas and parts together now so when the truck arrives I'm good to go.

Much appreciated!

Can you comment on MPG / on-road performance? This looks like what I want to do, but I'm curious how drivebility will be. I test drove both the 2.7 Lariat and a Raptor and they perform very closely in my daily driving routine - which is why I went with the Lariat.

OT Question: are you sticking with the sidesteps or are you going with sliders?

The 2.7 is amazing, and because I find the 10 speed is quite low geared anyway, don't really notice any change going up to the 275/75/17. Part of the fact might be that the 275 Falken AT4W is 10lbs lighter than the 285 equivalent. Engine and drivetrain wise, it's barely noticeable. Truck still happy to sit in 10th gear on the highway, even pulling up a hill remaining in 10th.

We have just driven down from BC, Canada to California, I estimate a 1-2 L/100km drop, but we seemed to have a head wind most of the way so may be less of a difference. Averaged about 13.5L/100km (17-18 US MPG) sitting at 70-75 where possible.

The lift affects the way it drives more I would say, but again, its minor, part of that is we have tried hard to keep the lift as close as possible to stock, the front struts are adjustable on pre-load and ride height, and its currently sitting about 1.5" higher at the front and 1" higher at the rear.

And yes, eventually the sidesteps will go in favour of sliders, but will wait until there's more options on the market. Hopefully Q2-Q3 next year ARB have their bumper and sliders released.

The priority next for us is a canopy camper and finding the right setup with rear leaf springs.
