Do you have photos with your 255/75 tires on the truck?I fit 255/75-17 Michelin LTX's on my stock FX4 XLT with zero issues. This may not be the exact answer you're looking for, but I will say unless you put on wheels with a bigger offset then bigger tires will rub. There is only about 1/4-1/2" between the inside of the tire and the spindle.

I'm looking to do the same thing as well. Would really appreciate pics when you get back if you would be so kind! I was also considering 265/70/17s. Any thoughts on those vs what you have? Do the clearance issues on stock rims have more to do with width vs diameter? Thanks!!I do not have a photo currently... I'm traveling right now. And yes.... Lower number to push the wheel and your out.
I’ve got stock tires with Icon Vector 6 rims, and it gave the truck a beefier look without any modifications to the suspension.Do you have photos with your 255/75 tires on the truck?
And by “more offset”, do you mean less than the stock +55mm?
What's the offset on those vectors?I’ve got stock tires with Icon Vector 6 rims, and it gave the truck a beefier look without any modifications to the suspension.

Greetings. So happy to see your post! First of all I like your truck! I've been trying to find someone who's running 265/70/17s on stock wheels & FX4 suspension. Could you please confirm your wheels are 17x7.5JX55s? What brand/model tires? Have you encountered any clearance or other issues? Here is my Lariat FX4 with 265/70/17 - take offs from a Bronco. Same offset and wheel width as the OEM 18’s. Not in love with these wheels. Might change it up in Spring.![]()

Thanks again! I have a Lariat on order but I've already bought a set of 17" wheels from an XLT to swap with the 18's. Happy to hear I can move up a size from the stock 17" tires. Have you noticed any negative impact on MPG with your set up? Did you recalibrate your speedometer? Thanks for the compliment on the truck!
I deleted the pics I took of the back of the wheels. I can say, when my son and I were swapping them, we checked the bore diameter (same), back spacing (same) and width (same). Everything looked good compared to the new OEM 18” wheels wrapped in 255/55/18. We then put on the driver front, checked clearance to the UCA, then turned the wheel lock to lock and checked for any interference. Everything cleared. Moved to passenger front, did the same. Then did the rears.
The tires are General Grabber ATX. I had these as stock on my 2021 Ranger Tremor. I picked this set up as a replacement and then ended up trading in that truck.
No issues in the month of running these. They are quiet enough, and pretty smooth. Just know, you NEED mud flaps if you go with these tires. They throw rocks like crazy.
I’m not sure if I took an MPG hit. I have a heavy foot. I also have the 2.7L. AND winter gas, driving in the snow…. There’s a few factors impacting MPG, or L/100km (as I live in Canada). Thanks again! Thanks again. I appreciate your insight! I think the wheels I got are the magnetic color (dark grey). They're the standard 17" wheels that came off a 2024 XLT. I'm also getting the 2.7 so if mileage was my priority I would opt for the 2.3. On the other hand I've owned a 2021 F150 that likes to drink gas so I don't want to completely destroy the significant improvement the Ranger will bring. What city are you in/close to? I live in CO and haven't had to shovel snow yet this winter. Kind of weird. Anyway since I'm not out shoveling snow I have lots of time to obsess about the tweaks I want to make on the truck once it gets here.I’m not sure if I took an MPG hit. I have a heavy foot. Speedo seems to be close. I downloaded a GPS Speedo to see the difference. Just have not cared enough to check. Maybe on the drive home today…I did not recalibrate. Probably will as I intend on running larger tires through the summer as well.
I wish I would have kept my 17” Tremor wheels. I like the magnetic colour much better.
Which XLT wheels did you pick up?
BTW - the Bronco guys let their wheels/tires go cheap and often - worth watching for on FB marketplace
I’m a bit North of you - Edmonton Alberta. Thanks again. I appreciate your insight! I think the wheels I got are the magnetic color (dark grey).
