Took about the same amount of time to clean my blood stains off the kick panel as it did to install the device. The blood shed was worth it though.

I don’t doubt that the feature might save a little gas, but I don’t know that is a fair trade for the extra wear on the engine and turbos. When the engine shuts down, you lose coolant flow, as well as oil flow. For the engine, it’s the additional “cold starts”, where with the turbos, , it’s loss of oil/coolant flow and an immediate spike in temperature. Those are my reasons for always disabling that feature, and with the bypass switch, I don’t even have to worry about it.
To each their own, but the system doesn't shutdown the engine unless certain parameters are met. For example, it will not activate until the engine has gotten up to normal operational temperature. So if there was a danger of cooking the engine or turbos, the auto stop wouldn't activate. Again though, I understand people not liking the feature, so I totally respect anyone who would prefer not to use it.

Get one from auto stop eliminator. Com. 4D ripped off their design and has it built cheap in China
They don't have a version of their device that works on a 2024 Ranger Raptor.

4dtech.com does. I put one in my 24 XLT/2.7 yesterday. Works great. They also have a great video of the install

There are a few of cheap ones on AliExpress. I can’t say if it’s the same as the OP’s, only that it works the same way.
not the same though, they all require wiring into fuse

When the engine shuts off, all of the oil drains back into the pan, thus the “cold start”. You do the most damage to your engine upon start-up, before the oil gets up to normal operating pressure. If they had really wanted to do it right, the auto start/stop would have been paired with an auxiliary electric oil pump. Just my $ .02
