Ya guess so..makes ya roll up turn air on...also sealt belt strap FLAPS AND FLAPS with windos down!
Yeah, I posted in other places about the seatbelt holders I installed to keep them from flapping. But none of this is affected by the sound deadening I installed in the doors.

For my own education, why use both? Do they do different things?
Yes, one is a dual density and the other is a triple density. Technically I probably could have just done two layers of the double but had the other on hand and wanted to try it. If I ever get around to it Ill use the triple density for the roof sincce its supposed to repel heat as well.

Does anyone that's installing any sound deadener in their doors know if it is going to interfere with water that drains out the bottom of your doors ?

You shouldnt be blocking any of the drainage holes when applying this to the inside of the door frame.

Ohh, so the only real reason for two layers is just to double up on the sound deadening? So, if I really wanted to go all out, I could double up on the 200 mil without issue?

You definitey can, or just get the thickest single piece you can possibly find. I dont honestly think I needed to double up. I just had the other stuff and hadnt used it yet lol.

Would you happen to know if water will pass over these down to the drain holes, or does water travel another route ? That would concern me anout them losing adhesion and possibly holding moisture.

It's got tar backing, won't be affected by water at all. These are to be used in any vehicle. I've never heard of anyone having drainage issues.
