Hello All! Long time creeper, just created account to let yall know, I LOVE this tune and this truck.

I don't notice much difference in exhaust except idle very faint rumbling like a tiny baby cam.

It goes. Noticeable at the seam of the pant for sure. And for the money, it's gotta be the best power for buck at the moment.

I don't know how to review this, so if any questions, I will try to keep notice. I do NOT understand all the gauges you can view. Dealer installed it, so no real answers there for you guys, sorry.

Butt dyno approved?
Absolutely. I went ~ 30 miles around to my house to check it. It gets up to speed quicker without a doubt.

I reached out to, I believe, the only local Dyno. Hopefully I can get her scheduled and see what we are cooking with!

I have the Fenix Intercooler as well, I left the active grill shutter idk why. Dealer installed tune. The tech enjoyed driving it around to back of dealership where I work. It increases boost, no doubt. Highest I saw the meter, didn't think to check numbers on dash.

The main difference is shifting with driving around town/country road. It seems to not be as "Eco" mode in normal. I don't push down as hard.

Full throttle, I hear the turbo SHOVING air through the system. And with Rec. BoV from Turbosmart, (not atmospheric). So I noticed the BOV between shifts way more. It's pushing some air.

The exhaust note at idle sounds very slightly cammed. The burbles are low, but sound off at different intervals now, not as droney. This isn't huge, but I always listen to exhaust note.

Sorry, Butt Dyno approved. Big gains boooyyy... (it feels quicker)

How long did it take them to install it? Did they just charge a couple hours of labor?

So envious. I drove my Livernois tuned 2019 like a sports car and loved it. I have to skip this time with RR because I have a 8year 125k warrantee I don't want to put to waste. But, I might cave in later and cancel the ESP warrantee if "I feel the Need, the NEED for SPEED!"

I would like to be upfront. I work at a dealership. I'm just a parts warehouse guy, but I have been there for coming on 3 years. I paid for 1 hour labor. That was agreed upon before we began.

It took the tech about 45 minutes. There is setting up an account with Ford Performance, entering some ID # from box, and registering with Ford. (OR Ford Performance) then he had to download the tune to the device. Then upload it in vehicle, which is about 5-7 minutes. You can go back and forth on the handheld device they provide.

There is an OBD2 wire, and window suction mount included in the box. And USB to PC cord. Data logging is possible, and it has MANY options for gauges.

I will try and get some photos of screen of different options. But it's in-depth, and UI is program file name, instead of easy to use UI. (But switching tunes is straight forward with on screen instructions)

Good to hear that this is going to be the stopgap I expected it would be until at home unlocking is possible. Worth the ~700 bucks.

For me, I think it's all I will need. I do want to get the exhaust setup. maybe better airbox & pipes? Charge pipes replaced with intercooler already.

Until a stock F-150 Raptor can beat me again. (I am assuming next year, right? Kinda have to.)

Howdy. My ford tune on my bronco 2.7 increased my mpg. I’m averaging about 20-21mpg. Up from 17.

Please let us know if you noticed any MPG differences. I know it’s not why you buy a raptor for MPG but anything helps right.

I ordered mine yesterday. I had it for my '19 and did all but final menu selection myself after convincing dealer (I have worked driving auction pickups and dealer trades for many years) that they did not want to do all the computer stuff. Initial download to tool took about 20 min and install about the same. Then the kit came with a K/N but I guess omitting it this time helped them stay at the same price as 5 years ago. A tech started the install and while we waited he dropped in the K/N. Total charge was .25 hours of labor. I will negotiate with them this time as the dealership has changed hands, but I do have friends that are ASE certified. The question is if you go the ASE route there to my knowledge/experience there is no formal way to or requirement to document install by an ASE guy. Not to mention that there are different categories of ASE certifications. And so far no instruction sheet but it should be essentially the same as the 2.3 tune. I did query my POC in Ford Performance about how or if one documented installation by dealer or ASE mech and the lack of instructions. Have the 2.3 still should anyone want to look at them.

so, @Ford Motor Company, can you please give us the answer were all arguing over, which is will the installation of the Ford Performance tune invalidate your 5/60 powertrain warranty?

So many have argued and assumed, but I have asked "Ford" on various social media sites with no answer. My dealer said "I have never had a claim for powertrain warranty work be denied due to the installation of a Ford Performance tune provided nothing else has been installed (Intercooler, CAI or anything else) on any vehicle for which it is available". Thats nice to hear but an explanation from Ford holds more credibility.
