Got my Motorcraft mud flaps for the front of my Ranger today and decided to install them right away. Living on a gravel driveway can wreck havoc on the rocker panels. These have to be one of the easiest installs to do.
All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic body panel screw removal tool. I actually did not have use the tool. Took maybe 5 minutes from start to finish. The small plastic pieces are no longer needed at the bottom of the fenders.
Kudos to Ford for making these!
The factory Goodyears really grab ahold of the gravel at slow speeds. Hopefully these will alleviate any damage to the paint.

Looks great. I used my factory points at the Ford site so just paid shipping, like 10 bucks. I can confirm they fit great with no drilling or mods!

Can you post some pics of the truck from 6-10' away with these on?

Are these more of a plastic or rubber? I've seen too many plastic mud flaps deform over time, would much prefer rubber or silicon.

I've had mud flaps on my Subaru forever but looking for singing a little more OE on the Ranger.

Nice! I like that, waiting on the Lariat. I’m doing the same thing, I don’t think I’ll need running boards on this truck. Thanks for sharing.

Do these reuse the original fasteners? I didn't think there was access to the backside of the fender when mounting.

They came with new fasteners. I used them and just kept the old ones since they just unscrewed and popped out. Use a stubby Phillip screwdriver and and leave the wheels straight and no problem installing them.

Sorry should have asked this, what type of fasteners did they come with?

You can't get the Ford ones in Canada (Backorder with no ETA). So I am installing Husky universals instead. I have been looking at the fronts trying to determine the best way to mount them, and knowing how the OEM ones do it would be helpful.

They use the exact same as what's on the vehicle from the factory. They push in but also have the screw in part. They are plastic as well.
