Finally got bed lined this morning. Took about 3 hrs total. It's the mid grade with the enhanced uv protection. It was... not cheap. But you pay for what you get. They sprayed up under the side rails and took the lights out, tonneau side rails out and plugged all the threaded holes. I did ask them to leave the front rubber rail for the tonneau which they did. They also removed the tail gate and the panel on the tailgate and sprayed everything separately. Excellent job by Huntsville Line-X.

I've had several Line-X liners in past trucks. Keep an eye on it. If it starts to fade then they did you like they did me the last time and charged me for the UV protection but didn't actually apply it. After almost a year I went back and had them do it.

With a tonneau cover on why get uv protection as the bed is covered most of the time?

I had their premium (base plus UV) on my '19 Lariat and was pleased. BUT went with local completion based on price and if you have a cover you don't need UV :), and that the alternative came to dealer, picked up and returned my truck, and also did my tonneau. Saved me a little money but mostly the inconvenience of having to get a ride back and forth to leave/pickup my truck. No issues with Line-X other than that, price on my tonneau ( BAK Revolver X4s) was exactly the same both places. I had an MX4 on my Lariat and it was nice but harder to uncover and blacked more view when all the way back.

Just had mine done, Premium (mid level, shiny with UV protection) with no other work, $689 in Coeur d’Alene ID. I asked why did they spray OVER the tie downs? He said that Line-X Corporate called all dealers and told them to NOT remove the fittings - the bolts are heavily thread-locked and can snap off.

Has anyone else heard that story? I am OK with this, if correct….

FYI, I was going to have them also apply paint protection film to the door sills, until I discovered that they farm that work out to another shop. I declined, I do NOT want some unknown kid hooning around in my Raptor. I am dropping it off myself at a nearby PPF shop to get that work done today. I will post a thread about it when it is finished.
