I fit the Overhaul HD to my Tonneau on Friday and it's a really straight-forward install. I had the Baseline/JetStream setup from my 5G Ranger and the 6G uses the same fit kit. Here is the fit from Yakima.

I hadn't bothered with installing it, but got it out, so that I could figure out the correct height for the Overhaul bars to make them line up. The HD towers need to be set at 22 1/4" to make the bed bars and the rear cab bar "flat." The front bar drops a little, which wouldn't be a big deal with a long piece of trim. If you had HD bars instead of JetStream ones on the front, then raise the rear another 3/8"

I'm using the 50" bars that I've had forever on the front and my 68" HDs on the back. 60" would be a better size for the front and will also fit the back. I've ordered some 60" bars for the HD, so I can move the 68" back down to above the bed.

Here are some pics.

Yakima Prices are pretty steep, but they do have site wide 20% off sales that align with REI's sales throughout the year. I like that you can easily keep it for future vehicles and that I can remove it all in about 10 minutes if I want to. I won't drive around like this all the time.

Hello, I saved my yakima overhaul rack off of my ram 2500. Put it on my 24 ranger with no problem. BUT, now I'm hearing about these J braces that may or maynot be required. I considered this a ladder, lumber rack. Called landmark ford parts manager who had to research this. He called me back and said the brace is not necessary unless you are I'm out doing excessive offroading. Over the last 50 years of owning trucks, Iv'e never heard of such a thing. Truck beds have always been pretty much bullet proof. Did you install them, I didn't. It seems to be a major topic in this forum.

I’ve installed J-braces. It would be nice if Ford could clarify the issue better.

You mentioned that the 60" would fit the back.
I'm looking at some Skyline towers (as opposed to the Overhaul Towers).
Do you think the 60"s would work on those for the Ranger (right on the rail, I mean)
I'm a little nervous because I can't tell if the Skyline towers stick out into the bed and the inside width of the bed is 55.75".

Above the cab, "60 will work. Down on the bed, you need longer. I had used "68 Hd bars with the bedrock system right above the bed on my '21. Lower needs longer.

Hi, I 've done same ie. yakima towers + hd bars on bed, and hd bar on roof.
Now i would like to add yakima H ot C platform along both support (bed and roof)
Do someone already tested this configuration?
Thanks a lot for any idea.
