Will lowering my 2024 Raptor mess with the waranty?

This question is about "can it be done without affecting the warrantee" not "should I do this".
The drop would be 2" front, 3" rear.
Thanks!

No, you shouldn’t do it.
And yes, if you ever have an issue with a driveline or suspension component it will not be covered under warranty anymore.

How do you propose to do it? The Fox Active Suspension won’t work, it is very sensitive to ride height, even a small leveling kit will throw it out of adjustment. But an aftermarket kit might replace it and you could sell the Fox parts for a gazillion dollars… This kind of mod would destroy the resale value of the truck! I would get a standard Ranger 2.7 and lower it.

Depends on the dealer and what part failed. If your wipers stop working, I assume it’s covered. But if you’re rear differential goes out or transmission they could say that the increase in driveshaft speed caused the failure (assuming you went smaller diameter tires). I lowered a 22 model, and had shocks built to fit, and then some I went by new length (sag, full extension, stroke). I’m thinking about dropping myself, have you found a kit? I was kinda liking the one pictured. Seen posted on a FB group.

Why would you buy a Raptor and then 'lower it'? You should sell the truck and buy something else.
I get its intended use, but there’s not another US truck platform (unless go 1/2 ton f150) that I’m aware of that
would have the potential of the RR once it was built as a skreet truck. The MS-RT is interesting and if 3.0 awd, could be a fun ride.

Just because if you can does not mean you should. Would be like the slammed lowered Gladiators I have seen at SEMA, cool in the first look moment but stupid in practice.

It’s definitely going to affect the suspension geometry and the chassis portion of the warranty.

As everyone has already indicated; It will require removal of the Fox suspension in favor of something lower. That’s just the start. Possibly upper and lower control arms, end links and more.

I don’t believe it would be cost effective but where there’s a will, there’s a way………🇺🇸

"CAN" you do it?
- Anything can be done with enough time and money

"SHOULD" you do it?
- Depends if you have enough time and money

You knew there would be some shade coming your way for this one. But I agree, your ride, your money, time…. Do what you like with it.

I think you know the answer to the warranty question. Probably also know that whatever is said here is meaningless if you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing repairs done.

I wouldn’t recommend contacting a dealership. They couldn’t answer a hypothetical question with a shop manual and YouTube how-to video. Save your time.

Why would a dealership/Ford honor the suspension aspect of their warranty, if you went ahead and swapped out/modified all of their OEM parts? As someone else mentioned, they can't necessarily not cover a blown turbo because you modified the suspension, but even still, the onus will be on you to fight for what's yours... and in that case... best of luck.

It would be a nice project. I agree that the potential for a street truck is there. It should be doable, just move on with it!. I don't know who currently sells parts to lower it dough. Mostly because only the RR has the spring rear suspension in the Rangers, I believe.
