When Chime sound does not go away do this to prevent battery drain

Hi, I have owned my RR for 2 years now, and its the second time this happens to me. Both times it has occured when I stop at a gas station to refuel, the chime that beeps when you open the door stays on and never goes away afterwards, until the battery is dead, not to mention how annoying it is to drive with the chime on all the time. It does not matter if you turn off the truck, lock it, set the alarm, etc, the chime stays on.

The first time my battery died since after I got home I thought it would shut down after a while and left it overnight, a couple of days later, since I did not drive the truck over the weekend, the battery was dead. I plugged a battery tender charger overnight and it never charged. I had to disconnect the battery completely and then charge it and it worked again.

A few days ago, one year later from the first occurrence, this happened again. This time, however, my battery did not die because I disconnected it for a few seconds as soon as I got home so the system is reset and the chime goes away. Remember, if you don't disconnect the battery the chime will stay on!.

Im attaching the videos I took from this to be sent to Ford so they are aware of this issue and be able to fix it. The speech in the video is in spanish but it basically describes what I wrote on this post.

Why don't you take it to the dealer to read the DTC and faults from the computer or get Forscan to read it yourself to find the problem so it doesn't happen again.

I don't think your Raptor was made in the same factory as ours but good heads up in case it happens to ours to solve it.

I turned ALL seatbelt chimes, reminders and locking horn honks off with Forscan and have had zero problems. Couldn't stand the way they implemented the obtrusive seatbelt warnings like we are idiots

My truck is made in thailand, is a ROW model.

I asked the dealer if they have a campaign for this failure mode and they don't, so I'm not taking it for them to mess with it if they don't know what to look for. I have not seen any CELs and the JB4 code scanner does not show anything.

Last time I took it to the dealership for service they told me a bout a campaign for the reverse camera or brake assistance in reverse (I have seen that bug on mine too but very seldom and when you shift to drive) and they told me they needed 6 hours or so to upgrade the SW, they also told me sometimes the SW upgrades screw up the displays (more so they kill the module by corrupting the SW and the display does not work any longer), for this reason I passed on the upgrade for that other bug.

Can you please share more about that Forscan you are referring to?, it soulds interesting to configure the features you like and remove the ones you don't. I could remove the steering vibration for example, and reduce more the brake assitance proximity warning?, maybe remove the speed limiter?, that would be awesome.
