Velocity Blue Ranger Raptor photos?

Velocity is brighter. But no biggie since I posted a Velocity Blue picture yesterday so you can see what it truly looks like. Velocity is definitely a better color

I work for a Ford dealer so I know. velocity in person looks good. Depending on lighting it's hard to tell them apart in pictures. I'm just glad it's not the atlas blue. That's even darker.

That's one of the best videos I've seen that shows off the truck. And yes I want blue now, which was my 1st choice before changing it.

I spec'd mine out in Velocity Blue but after talking to the dealer and seeing a Ford Fusion on the lot in VB I'm having second thoughts. The sales manager said blue is the slowest selling color on the Raptor and that he doesn't necessarily deduct for it on trade he definitely gives more for other colors. Still have time to change the color but this is tough.

Ever notice most popular colors on dealers lots are Gray, Silver, White and Black

Did he indicate which colors do better or which ones were the top movers?

I really wanted the new Shelter Green Metallic, but given the required orange accents inside, quickly decided against it. Even without the orange interior accents, resale on green would have likely been pretty poor if I decided to move on to something else. I am hopeful but still not convinced on the long term reliability.

He did. What I would consider boring or safe colors. Silver, black and gray. I’m also a Porsche owner and it’s a known fact in the Porsche world that the color cars are worth more than the boring colors. I was thinking the same would follow for the Raptor. Maybe not. I think cactus gray would be my second choice.

Ha, my basis for resale on green is the P-car world. Yellow, orange, and green, generally not so hot on resale over there. Miami blue (or any of the PTS blues for me)? Yes, please.

I ordered velocity blue with the graphics. I think the blue looks good on the Ranger Raptor. As far a resale value, I’m not buying it to sell. I’ll probably keep the truck the rest of my life. So I’m getting what I like.

Not a Raptor, but this truck at SEMA showcases Velocity Blue pretty well.



I messaged Realtruck on 5G about it and they sent me a picture of the ad in the video. They said the Mountain Top brand stuff should start showing up on their site in March or April. I think Mountain Top makes the OEM retractable covers we see on the Aussie and Euro trucks.
