Unplugged connector

I was trying to find the source for a leak and noticed this connector is unplugged underneath the car. This is on the left side, in front of the gas tank. Everything runs well with the truck so I have no clue what this might be and for how long it was unplugged.
Does anyone know what this might be? I plugged it back in but would really like to know what it is for.
