Y'all talking about chrome packages, and here I am wanting to see the return of more vibrant, truck colors and two-tone paint jobs. I'm looking at you, Eddie Bauer pkg.

I notice you have a tag holder on the front. Does that interfere with your front camera and parking assist? Mine came with a tag holder mounted upside down and I get a "adaptive cruise control blocked" sometimes as well as a " collision avoidance not available" message sometimes. I think the tag holder is the problem. Awesome truck!!!Picked up 2024 Ranger Lariat Fx4, Chrome package, 2.7L, Cactus Grey. Yippie Skippy! Removed the Fx4 stickers on the back already. The 1970's called me, hanging out with my buddies and all the chrome on cars, I just like the look. I have an appointment in a week to get PPF on the front end and the two windows tint to match. Ordering an ARE Revo topper this week. 90% of the time this is a pavement princess hauling samples for work, but the other is light 4x4, fish, camp and frolic. Haul my guitars, amps and gear from time to time. Goodbye to the 2002 GMC which was the small kids bus in the past...been a great vehicle....300 + miles...still runs pretty good. Out in front of the Coors brewery this morning; table mountain in the background.

We like it too!I really like the Chrome package as well.![]()
It is blocking the sensor, well half of it. It seems I have two options, at least Ford does. Install it correctly or remove it. Removing it will leave rivet holes in the front end which is unacceptable. Or flip it over as it should be which will require drilling two more holes. That's ok except it will partially block the front camera. Not a big deal as long as it doesn't affect parking assist. Too much tech in vehicles nowadays. I don't even use some of it but if it's there I want it to work.Seems you are blocking the sensor, see pic's and page 265 from the manual below.

With toppers, the window that faces the cab, can be fixed, tilt in or tilt in with a slider window.
tilt in gives access to the space between the cab and topper to help with cleaning.
Having the slider helps a bit with air flow, but one could pass small items through to the cab.
Here are some pics of the slider drop down window for a topper. I have an ARE Revo topper ordered; coming in 3 ish weeks.Okay, Thanks
Posted some driving impressions and since you requested....Cool, please post your driving impressions. Don’t forget that you need to get the J-Braces installed to carry the weight of that ARE, or will the topper dealer install those parts? Be sure to order the front slider window!
