whatever is on your final window sticker when confirmed it's shipped is what you will get.
Cool. Do you know if your window sticker thats available on your order page will change to the new one after shipping or if it's the same?

Auto start/stop isn’t “required” by any government. It just allows the manufacture to claim slightly better gas mileage for the EPA city rating if the feature is automatically enabled every time you start the car.

True. Just like the GM "skip shift" feature on manual Camaros and Corvettes. It's not gov't mandated.

GM also uses that cylinder deactivation garbage on their V8's. I'd rather have auto start-stop. At least you just have to push a button to disable it.

I do not know for sure. Basing on my Maverick experience, when I could 1st pull up the sticker it didn't have ramp info, blend date, etc. All that got added along the way until it was shipped finally. IIRC, it also had "unofficial" or similar watermark across it initially? Not sure Maverick and Ranger have exact same processes across the board.

Incorrect, it is EPA mandated for emissions and there is an implementation deadline that carries penalties if manufacturer misses it. I read it on the internet so it must be true. Nissan was getting pressured and holding off as long as possible until they finally had to have a "2023.5" model year update that included a.s.s. feature.

I don’t believe that’s true. Can you please link to where you’re getting this info from?

INCORRECT. Features like the auto start/stop and skip shift has everything to do with fuel consumption mandates and the improvement of vehicle fuel economy. The specific ways a manufacturer choose to go about meeting the fuel consumption requirements vary. But those specific ways/features are NOT mandated. Only meeting the ever more stringent EPA gov't fuel economy mandates are. This is why we have 6, 7, 8, 10 speed transmissions and so on. To avoid the "Gas Guzzler Tax" and meet fuel consumption standards. You think my GT500 has the start/stop feature? Or the skip shift feature? NO it does not. That's why the gas guzzler tax ($3000) is baked into the price.

So, has anyone that has gotten their truck actually tried the hack I saw previously listed on here about plugging an item into the 120 V outlet and leaving it there? Several folks said that stopped the truck from shutting off automatically. I am guessing the inverter running must mandate that the truck keep running to supply the power for the outlet to work??

IDK. Anyway, can someone try it real quick and let us know. Night light was suggested or a USB charger (presumably with something plugged into it.)

Currently, my truck is in production and the windows sticker does not show anything about Auto Start-Stop. BUT... my order details under Accessories shows Auto Start-Stop Removal

My window sticker doesn't say anything about Start/Stop, but my truck definitely has it.

I am betting they all have it.
I bought a start stop eliminator for mine.
The eliminator is already here all the way from Australia, just wish the truck was here from Michigan to install it on. LOL
