Setting to keep ECO Mode on permanently?

I have a 2024 2X2 Lariat. Is there a setting to allow the vehicle to stay in Eco mode permanently. Or do I have to keep switching back from normal mode to Eco mode every time I start the truck?

It will always be in normal mode when you start.

I generally drive in normal, but sometimes use sport. There have been a few times when I get back in the truck after a short stop that a message pops up in the cluster and asks if I want to continue in Sport.

I alway get the pop up to return to the Eco mode (or whatever I was on if it was not Normal) but it seems to go away quickly, especially with the seat belt pop up. It would be nice if you could set a default or it would just stay in the previous mode. One of the minor annoyances of the truck.

Yes setting a default mode would be one of main feedback points. That and letting you default to not turn on auto stop/start.

I have seen the notice also. Your right it goes away to quickly. I also read somewhere that one of the reasons it doesn't stay in Eco mode is because of safety. Ford is concerned that if your in that mode and needed to react quickly( step on the gas)to a hazard it would be to slow. Which I read between the lines as a liability to Ford.Just my 2 cents worth...
