I have had a few different sets of bars on my truck. First was stock, too wide, keeps scraping the back of my left leg getting in and out. They had to go. Bought N-Fab RS Nerf Steps. They rusted in 8 weeks. They were replaced with Go Rhino RB30 Slim, which are NOT slim and came right off Because they are too wide and mount using pressure, not ideal. Crappy design. I know Realtruck just joined as a sponsor, but they have bought up so many companies in the truck accessories category, to be nice I will say they haven’t made their products better for it.
Shipping, Bought from Rough Country direct, free shipping and let me tell you, they know how to pack and ship. The bars came well protected from damage (See photo).
Install was very easy, one bolt stay for each bracket is a fork, so you thread the three bolts corresponding, and lift up and slide into place. Thread in the last three and tighten as you should. Sure easy one person install.
High and tight, very narrow, perfect for me and my wife as well (Shes 5’2” I’m 6’3” so our needs differ).
Nice finish and an overall good product. Let’s hope they stay rust free.
