Removal of Raptor Decals

Has anyone removed the Raptor decals? If so, what is the best method to minimize paint damage? Thanks much, I pick up my Ranger Raptor tomorrow and want to remove the flashy decals.

Heat gun on LOW or a hair dryer, just kept it moving at a safe distance away to protect the paint , laid my fingers on it to check the warmth then used a new plastic scraper to lift an edge then slowly peeled my FX4 sticker off the bed to swap it for a muted color decal. You can also use a bondo spreader to lift the 1st edge . Once it started to lift I just stayed in front of the peel with the heating device to make it peel right off. KEEP IT MOVING SO YOU DONT BLISTER THE PAINT and don't burn yourself!

Talk to your dealer. My dealer offered to remove them for me at no cost if I purchased a truck with decals and did not want them.

Mine came off SUPER EASY and in one piece. Took literally two minutes
If it's new just put the truck in the sun grab a corner and pull.

These decals are very easy to remove with a hair dryer.

If it's new just put the truck in the sun grab a corner and pull.

This is what I did with the Fx4 stickers. Came off slick and quick.

you folks are all terrific with valid and timely responses. I thank ya'll mucho. I get the Raptor tomorrow and the decals will be gone within the hour of arrival thanks to all this good advice. Summing it all up, I think I will use an acetylene torch and just burn the rear quarter panel off. Just kidding, thank again. Gris

A bit of isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber will remove all of the residue. After a quick hand wash you’ll never know it was there. My f-150 decals were a real pain in comparison.

I use a hair drier since not as hot as my heat gun. Any residual I use 3M automotive adhesive remover. It’s what a dealer used to remove stickers off a jeep years ago

Thanks, adhesive remover a good tip. The Raptor arrived yesterday and as it was new, the stickers peeled right off. Later, on a dusty road, the image of Raptor re-appeared: adhesive remover should do the trick. Thanks again
