How are you folks mitigating the lack of rear seat vents?

Are you sticking a USB fan in the back somewhere (which ones, where)? Has someone found a workaround to install the vents from a non-US ranger?

For context, I already have the under-seat vent extenders, but I'm all ears (and eyes) for ideas on how you're getting more airflow around the rear of the cab.

I don't have any ideas but can you send a link to the under-seat vent extenders?

i just point the center front vents down the middle, but aimed a little high and it seems to work. it was 90 here a day or two ago and it was hot when we got in the truck but he said he could feel the air fine when i aimed the vents that way.

now, i never aim the vents at myself for those people who want to vents blowing on them all the time, this won't work. i like the air to be cooled down in the cabin versus just blowing on me as its normally in the 130/140s in the cab in the summer when i get in so i want everything cooled down.

Thanks! I didn't even know there were vents under the seats. Better than nothing I guess but still doesn't make sense they didn't just put them in the console like they do in other parts of the world.
Been using these since I’ve owned the RR, they do an excellent job at moving air upwards towards passengers.🇺🇸

I'm waiting for someone to retrofit the vents from another market. It looks like the RRs in Mexico have the rear vents, and I'm sure it's possible to do so.

Yeah, I saw that too. Lot of work with no guarantees. Could also require some coding if there's a change to a fan/motor to send air that direction.

It's only for the benefit of back seat passengers, or my (extra pukey) dog, or kid in a car seat.... but I might just give up and throw in a clip-on USB fan plugged into the center console just to create a bit more airflow. I'm trying to see if there is something that clips right onto the top of that empty shelf of the center console, and also rotate automatically (either on USB or using the 400W limited plug) before I go buy something that clips onto the posts of the front seat headrests.

I wish I could fit or do something with that empty slot. Even if it was a cup holder.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe I'll 3D print something. Should be a simple design

My dealer can order the driver's side grab handle assembly even though it's only on non US vehicles.. So maybe go to your dealer parts person and ask them to look up rear center console air vents and maybe you can order them just like the grab handle assembly? Once they do a search, all the avaliable parts in that area of the vehicle come on their screen. My parts guy was even shocked that he could order that.
