Raptor side steps ? Anyone removed them?

Is there a way to lower the side steps. My wife and I are both short and have to pull up into the cab….I like the step bu would like to lower them??

Hi All,
I removed the side steps but I noticed that on the passenger side there are some cables exposed and at risk to be cut. I'm thing about bush areas and things like that...
Not sure what these wiring are for either. My Raptor is the diesel version (EU) without any suspension adjustment. Does anyone have notice the same thing and had any issue?

I replaced mine with sliders from Goat Fabrications. Easier to get in an out for me 6'3" and the copilot 5'3". Here is a pic with the factory running board off and with the Goat Fab slider on. The sliders keep the rocks off and the shopping carts away.

Yes they bolt to the factory holes.

I just did didn't care for them.

wondering if the cladding will still fit and stay put if you keep the oem step bar?
