I have a Ranger 3.0 ecoblue diesel 2024 here in the uk. I have drive a couple others before I purchased it and all seem to do the same thing when you first start the vehicle the Power is restricted for a little while which might be a safety precaution to protect the engine from cold I understand but after the engine is warm and I’ve been sat idling a while if I go to pull off it’s low power again for a couple of minutes until I’ve driven a little while. I don’t understand why there would be a power restriction again once I’ve already warmed the car up and not turned it off. Even the other rangers I have drove do this but no one can officially tell me why. Not the Ford dealers and I can’t find anything online. Can anyone help?
