Ford Ranger Off road screen symbols? 20250315_142503

So i was pushing buttons looking for the oil life reset button and i found an off road screen. It added some more gages to the screen, one which i actually use when towing so its nice to have what i think the transmission temp gage, but what is the turbo looking emblem? Or is it a hurricane emblem, ha ha ha? I feel like its a boost gage but it hardly comes up from zero so maybe its manifold pressure?

Funny to have an off road screen in a 2wd but its good to have trans temp for towing

My boost pressure gauge never seems to register any data, lol.

Retired and busier than I ever was when working
Stomp the throttle pedal and watch. I know that works on mine.

But yeah, in everyday, calm driving it rarely registers anything.

I thought mine was stuck at zero for a while too... On my 2.7L it needs quite a lot of throttle to spool up. When the boost pressure rises though, man do you feel it.

How'd you get this? I've tried to find a trans temp and boost pressure for ages...

Go into your screen using the right steering wheel buttons, the three lines looking button to the right of all the buttons. Scroll down to off road screen, below trip or fuel. It will be on the same screen the shows the option for my view, trailer light test, tire pressure, and trip, i think. When you click off road, it opens to the one i show in the first picture and the right bar graph is the trans temp

Hint; if you use the steering wheel right up/down button it will automatically scroll through the last few gauge menu items you have selected. You don't have to go through the menu button every time.

Also, play around with My View, as it allows you to configure a variety of gauges on the cluster.

BTW, if you get an offer from Ford to do an "owner orientation" I would encourage you to take it. I did and it was chocked full of tips / tricks not shown in the owner manual.
