Hello everyone!

I just bought a 2024 Ranger FX4 Lariat! Paid too much like most do $57K but it had almost every option checked! My last truck was a 1993 Dodge D250 cummins turbo diesel (Blowndodge). Loved that bad boy but this truck is amazing. That 2.3 turbo is quite the engine. Thought about waiting until the 2.7 was available but that 2.3 is more than ample enough. We have high altitude driving in Utah and it stays mostly in 10th on the grades no problem. Mileage is decent too. It's actually fast. Hoping to pick up some good tips. Still learning all the setting and gadgets. Had it graphene coated. At 67 this should be my last truck!

Congrats, that's exactly what I picked up recently. I also paid that much, but in Canadian dollars ($44k USD). I wonder why that might be?

Anyway, I'm also learning all the things, but I'm most impressed with all the safety features and the parking assist. I'm a terrible parallel-parker, especially now, and it's the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Different prices for different markets. It seems Ford prices the ‘normal’ rangers fairly aggressively for us compared to what you’d expect with exchange. While we get a bit hosed on the raptor version.

I’d been bouncing around with several dealers in the SW Denver Metro area since May. Found nice deals with Granger in IA and Laura in Mo. Just over invoice.

Lariat, 2.7L, Fx4, Advanced Tow package and splash guards. Chorme package added $215 for the side steps with a Sandtone interior. OTD with sales tax $52K and change. Felt like it fell in my lap with a local dealer, but it took the leg work to deal with out-of-town dealers and possible 2025 wait to help get the vehicle at this price point. Sales tax where I live is not within the city limits. Depending on urban local, that was a 4-5% savings in tax.

I have since put some bling on the chrome package, used points to help pay the chrome bug guard and added the stainless-steel step bar filler; all from Ford.com accessories page. https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/threads/1970s-chrome-bling-added.12966/#post-200085

Covered the whole front end in PPF, then 18” up the hood/fenders, tinted two front windows, the headlights, leading edge of tub/box painted fender piece just in front of the back tires (sticks out a bit when you look down the side/had some splash back there; thought it might be susceptible to flying debris). Did about a 4” piece on the tail gate as ARE topper gets installed this week and to help protect paint from the back hatch vibration. City/County/State puts down sand and mag cloride in the winter here.

$1,500 from Sunsation in SW Littleton Colorado. Have done business with the Campbells over five vehicles. You can eat off this guy’s garage floor. He is the guy the dealers send their business to after the dealer takes a cut. I recommend these folks.

It blends in so well its hard to see....but its there.
