I am really considering this amp and I will be replacing all of the speakers as well.

I'll probably do the speakers in the future. Thinking about replacing the tweeters since I have to pull the pillar cover anyway to run wires.. I have some Kicker KS series component tweeters laying around that may fit.

From the website the stock speaker dsp file is this based on the oval or round sub?

I have 5 unterminated wires
This after diagnosis seems to be
Sub woofer (pink +pink silver)
channel 8 spare purple and purple silver
and an unknown blue wire
Is there a reason the sub wires are not part of the main plug or is there a seperate use

is it best to add the sub through as a replacement and completely removing the old sub or running a seperate amp and sub from the DSP RCA out?

The blue wire is a remote on for another amp. I used it to power on a powered sub woofer.
The sub in the U.S. versions is really small and I had an unused Kicker 11HS8 that fits perfect in the factory spot.
There is a difference in wiring in the U.S. versus ROW versions of the trucks so I'm waiting on an upgraded harness so the center channel speaker gets used.
Other than that and even with that speaker being dead at this time the system sounds great! I replaced all of the speakers with Kicker KS series and used speaker baffles to keep them dry in the doors (not sure it's needed since inside the doors were completely dry) and a sheet of sound deadening behind each speaker.
You won't be disappointed with this amp!

Looking at adding a DD SL610 under the seat
Tossing up running spare amp and keeping the stock in place.
Hopefully the excursion of the sub will not make contact with the bottom of the seat
After that looking at replacing speakers with focal but will be done in stages

Did you use the standard wires to OEM sub or replace from the mobridge? If so where did you tap from?

I'm using the output from the Mobridge to control the sub The DSP does such a good job controlling it. As of now I'm using the high power output going to the amp but when I do the final wiring I'll use the low power output. I believe the DSP will have better control of the sub channel that way.
Fraser from Mobridge has been a pleasure to work with sorting out bugs.
I believe that HyperM3 and I are the first to actually install this amp in the U.S. version of the Ranger and it has been found there are some differences as compared to ROW models.

So a little update to those following:

We have had a few people in the US install these now and we found one difference on the US vs Aussie delivered rangers.

The ACM (headunit) module in the Aussie ranger drives only the front A pillar tweeters, however in the US it also drives the center channel. Why Ford!?

So we now have 2 different wiring harnesses for the Ranger. The US rangers will require an extra wire to be run up to the center channel. Luckily enough it is easy to get this wire up to the center channel via the top of the glovebox. No extra panels have to be removed.

We have got both versions in stock and ready to ship. And as a result of the relaunch we have extended the coupon code for another month! Use RANGER6G.
