Haven't seen it in person yet. I'm in Canada, we're not doing the employee pricing thing right nowI only test drove one 2024 Ranger and I was not a fan of the brake feel.
Haven't done enough research on the subject but I thought I've seen it talked about on 2024s and they fixed it on the 2025s? Not sure though.
Other than that, hopefully you can negotiate something a little under the employee pricing as it's been sitting for so long (and potentially has a good bit of miles from test drives?).
Where do I find that? It says "blend" and above it it has "320241115" - if we remove the 3, that'd be November 15, 2024. I looked up the order:Check the blend date on the window sticker. Make sure it is after Sept 12, 2024. That's supposedly the date that the upgraded J-braces started being installed.
The braces add strength the bed so you can mount items to the truck bed rail like overland racks, ladder racks etc. Basically anything that mounts to the bedside and extends above it. With that build date it should be already installed. You can ask the dealer to verify it has been installed.Where do I find that? Confirmed: 9/10/24
Scheduled Week Of: 11/11/24
In Production: 11/17/24
Built: 11/25/24
I'm guessing it's past Sept 12 by all of the above.
What do the upgraded J-braces do?
Thanks!
Thanks! Probably not something I'd ever use, but would be good to know regardlessThe braces add strength the bed so you can mount items to the truck bed rail like overland racks, ladder racks etc. Basically anything that mounts to the bedside and extends above it.
