Memory function for power seats

Hi there. European models have power seats, but no memory. Was thinking about buying the memory buttons modules from US/AU models and do the swap on my European model. Any experience here? Would it need to be reprogrammed? Or will plug and play work?

Not sure if the trucks without memory seat functions have motors with Hall effect sensors. These are needed to know the speed/time or number of rotations of the motor. That’s how it recalls the position.
