Im excited to finally share a review in the next few weeks once I have the Maxliner Venture canopy installed.

A little backstory, I had been hunting for a canopy and came across the Maxliner back in July and fell in love with the design. Australia and Thailand get all of the good products imo.

I reached out and was told the canopy was designed for the Thai truck. It turns out the main difference was in the cab design with the 3rd brake light. We agreed that 3D scans could get us the data they needed and would give the opportunity to make design changes prior to SEMA. Both Maxliner and myself got to work and I lined up 3D scans to send their way. The team over there and especially Khom was awesome to work with.

Fast forward and the canopy is at SEMA! I was headed down with guys from my company and had the opportunity to see it in person. I am really impressed with all of their products and blown away with the Venture in person. The lines are perfect, everything serves a purpose.

In a few weeks I should have the canopy on hand and installed. I will be sure to provide a thorough review to all of those interested.

In my opinion this is the best looking canopy for the Ranger. Ever since I found it I’ve been hopeful that it would be available in the US. I was looking at bed covers yesterday, but I prefer this cap over any other solution. Do you have any idea when or if it’s going to be available in the US? Do you know how much it weighs?

I’ll be eagerly following your updates

I agree on looks, a bit rugged but super streamlined. I can ask about when they will be available in the US along with the weight. I expect US availability should be right around the corner. I will take a bunch of pictures and videos to show the quality. Needless to say I am excited!

Any info on pricing?
I don't know how the Australian dollar compares to the US dollar but their website prices it at $4595.00. They are awesome but a bit pricey for me.

My buddy saw this at SEMA and told me it's the only topper he'd get. He said it was fantastic. I'm anxiously awaiting US release!

Agreed, this is the best-looking canopy out yet; given manufacturing lead times, transit time, etc., no doubt this is probably a bare minimum of 6 months out.

One minor issue that perhaps they can address before releasing it in North America: the shelf/cubby area behind the right window is designed for right-hand drive vehicles - moving that to the left-hand side for the North American market would make it much more convenient and perhaps improve visibility for drivers.

Also, I don't see a positive pressure vent on this canopy, but maybe I missed that?

I’m pretty sure the cubby is an accessory that you add. I think you can add those to either side or both.
