Jumping the Ranger Raptor

Finally got the Ranger airborne over the weekend during Detroit 4Fest at Holly ORV park. Extremely impressed with how this truck handled the short track in general, but even more so with the soft landings on this jump. The tuning on these shocks is next-level, especially considering they don't have a rebound valve.

Has anybody else gotten air yet? Let's see some pics/video.

That is impressive. Thanks for having the balls to drive fast…. Can you please start a new thread about your flag and mount? I recall that you mentioned it somewhere, but a dedicated thread would be better.

I am not positive about this, but your collision insurance is 100% invalid in an ORV park…. can somebody comment? There is one very close to me that I want to try, but I am concerned about screwing up my truck. And I would feel better having a flag (but it isn’t required there).

I will try to upload some videos to YouTube then post them here but here my some pics that I have.

Being an off-road lover for the past 15-20 years, I have driven many off-road machines from Prerunner to UTV’s and mainly everything you can expect but not a race trophy truck.
I can say the RR might be one of the best machines I have driven.
What really makes me love the RR and drive it Or jump is the weight and excellent suspension. It gives you the vibe of a UTV in all terms, speed , suspension, handling, weight and airtime.

Not sure who this is but a buddy of mine sent this to me. I posted a separate thread on it this morning.

If you can make it to the Ford Raptor Rally I highly recommend it. Last year it was in Utah. This year it’s in Lake Havasu, AZ. This was the jump Ford set up for one of the activities. Each vehicle was given the chance to jump 2x. The team required drivers and passengers to wear Ford supplied helmets. These photos were taken by a professional photographer commissioned by Ford.
