I bought the Rocker panel protection kit from Ford.
Ford website said it would fit Ranger Raptor models, however it doesn’t seem to fit Raptor models.
‘At least the two pieces for the bottom of the front fenders are clearly not compatible with shape of the Raptor models front fenders.
Looking at them I am betting they fit a non Raptor fender Just fine.
The Raptor fenders bulge outward and have a fender flair on top of that, the Raptor fender flair alone is in major conflict with how these parts are made to attach, and where they attach.
I had hired a local custom shop to install them. I hired the local shop for multiple other upgrades to the truck, like paint protection films , installing the Ford J-braces and vinyl wrap on the rockers as well. Etc etc.
They started the install process on the back of the cab and worked their way forward only to discover the front fender parts do not fit.
Does anyone know if Ford has these in other global markets that are made to fit a Raptor model?
What should I do, any chance Ford would stand behind this. The kits been installed except the front fender pieces had to be cut back to clear the fender flairs but still giving a lot of issues since the shape is really not correct for the shape of the Raptor fenders. They keep trying to fall off. They are starting to pull away /falling off again today.
