Funny this post came up, as I was looking at a dozen new 2024 rangers on a local car dealer lot this past weekend(No raptors), every one had a hood alignment issue or fender to hood issue. On most of them, it almost looks like the hood is being installed too close to the cowl or too far back. The points of the fender are in front of the hood line. I hope they fix this for 2025 model year. The other thing I noticed is one of them had the same passenger front fender point paint chipped, which is one of the paint issues I had on my '24 Raptor I passed on.
On a good note, all the other body gaps, paint work looked good, even all the rear taillights had no paint damage, it looked like they might have increased theie tolerance around the taillight or are installing them different.
Ford if you are monitoring this forum pass this info. along.
My hood & doors didnt shut easily at first, especially the hood. After about 3-4 months both issues self-resolved. I never looked that close at the gaps & no one has mentioned any glaring abnormalities so I’ll continue to enjoy it as-is. It’s probably better than the 2012 Ram 2500 I traded in on it Anyways.
My Raptor had the same issue. I had to take it to a dealer that had a body shop. It looks 97% better after they made adjustments. Only if you busted out calipers and split hairs you could tell its not 100% perfect.
